Born in Manchester, England, Mark has been stateside now since 1992. After a family move to Tennessee,it didn't take long for Mark to realize the back roads of the rural countryside couldn't fulfill his passions and so, he moved in the spring of 1997 to Atlanta. He now resides there with his wife Dara and their two furry companions.
Takashi Doscher is an award-winning writer/director from Atlanta, GA. His previous directing efforts have premiered in international film festivals, won National History Day competitions in 2003 and 2004, and entertained live audiences of over 50,000 people. His work has been featured in the Washington Post, MovieFone, IndieWire, Fancast, Short of the Week, and Director's Notes, among others. A Fighting Chance, his first feature documentary, premiered on ESPN in 2010 and launched as the #1 Film and #1 Documentary on Hulu.
Following the documentary, he accepted a position as a writer and director for Whitestone Motion Pictures. He wrote and directed over 4 short films, and produced countless other ad and corporate spots, before moving on to pursue his next big projects as a founding member of Intellectual Propaganda. He will be directing another feature documentary in Tanzania, in January 2012.
John Merizalde is an award-winning writer/director currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. His work has been screened both nationally and internationally including at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
He joined Whitestone Motion Pictures in 2010 where John wrote, directed, and edited several pieces for the company. He recently finished work on an international sex trafficking documentary in Greece. He is currently one of the founding members of Intellectual Propaganda.
David Torcivia is an award-winning cinematographer from Atlanta, GA. His work has been displayed at Cannes, he's attended the Oscars, and he has contributed to films screened both nationwide and internationally.
He currently works as a freelance cinematographer and colorist in addition to giving technical consultations.
